Like other CNC coilers from Automated Industrial Motion, the 3500 model can be configured with 4, 5, or 6 axes, giving operators precise control over tooling movement and spring geometry. With a working range from .156” to .500” wire diameter, the AIM 3500 is well suited for larger compression, torsion, and extension springs used in industries like agriculture, energy, automotive, overhead door systems, and other rugged equipment.
AIM provides a full family of proven coiling systems, each featuring a PC-based operating platform. Intuitive Windows-based software works seamlessly with a Delta Tau motion controller, ensuring smooth transitions from digital design to high-speed manufacturing. Direct servo drives maintain individual axis accuracy, while AC brushless servomotors, planetary gear reducers, and DuraBond Slides create a durable mechanical base that performs reliably right out of the box.
